After the success of the success of last years inaugural workshop on
Identification of bone, horn, ivory, antler and other osseous and
keratinous material and due to popular demand, UKIC Ethnography
Section are pleased to announce that we have places on this years
workshop available on a first come first served basis. The workshop
is kindly being hosted by the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
September 9-10, 2004. Details can be found below including more
detail on the course content and how to obtain a place.

Day One

    9:30-9:45: Registration
    9:50-10:00

        Formal Introduction: Simon Cane, Head of Collections Care,
        Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

    10:00-5:00

        Tutor: Sonia O'Connor
        (Start time 10am, 11am tea break for 20 mins, 1-2

        Lunch, 3pm Afternoon Tea, finish 5pm)

Day Two

        Tea Break

        Society

    4:15-4:30

        Questions for speaker's and discussion of any issues arising
        from the talks or previous days lectures
