Brian Baird

Brian Baird has joined Heckman Bindery, Inc.
<URL:http://www.heckmanbindery.com> as Director of Preservation
Services to help that company's efforts in offering libraries a full
range of preservation and conservation services. Brian has been
actively involved in library conservation and preservation
activities for 15 years.  He served as a conservator at Princeton
University before moving to the University of Kansas to establish
their nationally recognized preservation program.

Brian will oversee Heckman's Conservation Department, which offers
libraries a full range of conservation services to libraries for
their rare and general collections materials.Brian will also work
closely with Heckman's library binding operations on quality
assurance issues and customer satisfaction. Brian's email address is
