The information I gave on this list (Conservation DistList Instance:
18:2 Friday, June 18, 2004) was faulty information given to me by a
supplier of industrial zeolites. Jim Drusik of GCI alerted me to
the fact that the cat litters he examined had mostly clay. I have
since done a little searching and found a great web site that lists
many household products and their MSDS info:

    <URL:http://householdproducts.nlm.nih.gov/index.htm>

There were many cat litters listed. Only one had any zeolite and
that was one called Ammo Cat by

    Aquarium Pharmaceuticals
    Chalfont, PA
    215-822-8181

It is made of clinoptilolite, a very useful zeolite.

Sorry for being misleading. I hope you can find one available in
Canada.
