Job Summary: The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
http://www.gardnermuseum.org is seeking a part-time Collection
Maintenance Technician for eight hours per week.  The Technician
will assist in the dusting, vacuuming, and monitoring of the
Museum's permanently exhibited textiles, sculpture and decorative
arts.  The technician will be instructed by the conservation staff
in methods for dusting and examining works of art.  This is an
excellent opportunity for anyone with a strong interest in
collection management, conservation, or fine art. The successful
candidate will have completed or be working toward the completion of
a BA degree, be attentive to detail, be able to demonstrate a
sensitivity to handling art / fragile objects, and be able to work
on a ladder.  The position will be paid at the rate of $10 per hour.
