ALA Annual Meeting Announcement and Agenda

The ALCTS/PARS Preservation Instruction, Education and Outreach
Discussion Group will be meeting at the American Library
Association's Annual Conference on Sunday June 27, 2004 from 2-4pm
at the Sheraton World Resort, Okeechebee 1.  We are pleased to have
with us at our meeting Dr. Michele Cloonan, Dean, Simmons College
Graduate School of Library and Information Science, who will update
us on the April 12, 2004 symposium "Preservation Education: New
Directions, New Partners" (see
<URL:http://www.simmons.edu/gslis/about/news/symposium.shtml>).  In
addition, Julie Arnott, Manager of Preservation Services at SOLINET,
will present information on the latest edition of the ALCTS
publication, The Preservation Education Directory.  Discussion after
each topic will follow.
