The London Library is seeking a qualified and experienced book
and/or paper conservator to assist and advise in areas of specialist
conservation and binding, to undertake specialist repairs, and to
help promote conservation issues.  You will join the newly-enlarged
department of Preservation, Binding and Stack Management and will
play a central role in improving and extending its work.  The
Library has recently embarked on an exciting and challenging
development programme, and in addition to using your practical
specialist skills you will be expected to work regularly with the
Head of Fundraising to attract funding for conservation activities.
Creativity, flexibility and a cheerful and outgoing personality are
