Starting salary: up to UKP30,000 pa

Tate's Conservation department is responsible for the technical
investigation, conservation and restoration of works of art in
Tate's Collection and care.

For an experienced frame conservator, this is a unique opportunity
to lead a specialist team within a major national gallery. This role
involves researching and treating frames from the 16th Century to
the present day, co-ordinating the section's activities, and
providing expert advice.

You will be an expert frame conservator with good organisational,
analytical and problem solving skills. Experience of managing a
small team will be an advantage, although not essential. The level
at which we appoint will reflect the range of expertise you can
bring to the post.
