The Pitt Rivers Museum is offering an excellent opportunity for a
qualified and experienced individual to be part of the conservation
and collection care team.

The successful candidate will have a recognized qualification in
conservation with at least 5 years professional experience working
in a museum or similar institution.  They should have an
understanding of cultural issues surrounding the treatment and care
of ethnographic, social history and archaeological collections with
a specific knowledge in the treatment of inorganic materials.
Essential requirements are; an interest in disaster planning, proven
ability to meet deadlines, enthusiasm, good communication skills and
a flexible approach to work; a full driving licence is necessary.
