AIC Book and Paper Group reception

On Sunday, June 13, 2004, from 11 a.m.  12:15 p.m. there will be a
panel presentation for the Book and Paper Group Session of AIC
entitled A Stitch in Time: Repairing the Original Sewing Structure
on Bound Materials. While there will be some small amount of time
for questions from the audience and discussion, people who are
interested in this topic may want to exchange more information than
that small amount of time will allow.

Please consider this an invitation to anyone interested in the
repair of original sewing to bring to AIC any examples, images,
descriptions, and/or anecdotes on the topic, for the purpose of
sharing them. A table will be provided for display and anyone who is
interested in examining and discussing techniques of repairing
original sewing on bound materials will be able to do so following
the panel discussion.
