Conservator - Electronic Media Tate Starting salary: UKP21,000 pa Fixed term through to mid June 2005 This is an opportunity to join a small team working in a new area of conservation. Your role will involve developing conservation plans for time-based media works of art involving video, film, audio, slide and computer based elements. You will have special responsibility for displays and loans of time-based media works across all Tate sites. You will need a recognised qualification in conservation, or equivalent training, and be able to demonstrate how your professional experience has equipped you to make decisions and work effectively within a complex environment. We recognise that this new field of conservation is not included in conservation training. Therefore, as well as a keen interest in this area of conservation, you will need the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast changing environment.
