Conservator - Electronic Media
Tate
Starting salary: UKP21,000 pa
Fixed term through to mid June 2005

This is an opportunity to join a small team working in a new area of
conservation. Your role will involve developing conservation plans
for time-based media works of art involving video, film, audio,
slide and computer based elements. You will have special
responsibility for displays and loans of time-based media works
across all Tate sites.

You will need a recognised qualification in conservation, or
equivalent training, and be able to demonstrate how your
professional experience has equipped you to make decisions and work
effectively within a complex environment. We recognise that this new
field of conservation is not included in conservation training.
Therefore, as well as a keen interest in this area of conservation,
you will need the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast
changing environment.
