UCL Centre for Sustainable Heritage CPD seminar

Risk: Uncertainty and Decisions for Cultural Heritage Conservation
UCL, London
June 8-9, 2004

This practical seminar explores the meaning of conservation from
the over-zealous attachment to the past to the over-optimistic
belief in the future. Decisions made now, even in areas not
connected to cultural heritage, will have effects on the
conservation of cultural heritage. The likelihood, timing and
impact of these effects are all uncertain, yet decisions must be
made. This seminar is conducted by Professor Jonathan
    Ashley-Smith, Victoria and Albert Museum.
