Conservation Protections Assistants Hampton Court Palace Historic Royal Palaces have two positions on an initial three month basis to assist our Conservation and Collections Care team in protecting delicate palace interiors during events scheduled from May to August, including a theatre production and the music festival. This is an ideal position for an individual with an interest in history and museums. You should be energetic and enthusiastic, and able to follow the palace's exacting approach to caring for the interior and contents. Also important is the ability to provide instructions in a clear and diplomatic manner, be a self motivator and a team player, be solution focused and deliver under pressure. You will need good manual dexterity with a cautious approach to carrying out practical work. The ability to work flexible hours (including evenings) at short notice is essential.
