Benner Larsen is offering 2 practical courses at his studio in Denmark : Making High Quality Resin Replicas of Museum Objects May 31-June 4, 2004 Procedures and topics include mould-making principles; the casting of materials; making silicon rubber moulds for multiple replicas; mixing, storing and using epoxy resin; the application of pigments; finishing and retouching. Making High Quality Electroform Replicas June 7-11, 2004 This course encompasses electroforming for museum exhibitions, research, education, reconstruction and completion. Participants practise making silicone rubber moulds, preparation for deposition and joining and finishing by making electroform replicas of pre-selected antiquities. Dianalund is easily accessible from Copenhagen and very reasonable accommodation is available close to the studio.
