Marking

Nicole Gilroy asked about writing in white on black backing papers:

We have used Pentel K108 Hybrid fine white marking pens for some
time and have found them to be easy to use on a variety of surfaces,
providing a reliable clean line (no blurring) and being easily
removed with a swab of alcohol or acetone while fresh. We use them
on a surface protected with a small amount of Paraloid B72 (Acryloid
in the US) in acetone and then covering the pen marks with a further
layer of B72 when dry. We have used them on porous surfaces such as
paper and card but not in archival situations.
