Subject: Position at Odyssey Marine Exploration
Experienced Conservator sought to direct newly formed division of company devoted to conservation of a wide variety of artifacts from shipwrecks ranging from classical Mediterranean sites to 19th century steamships. Primary client for these activities initially is Odyssey Marine Exploration <URL:http://www.shipwreck.net>. Graduate degree or equivalent experience in artifact conservation required. Position involves ability to perform and supervise ongoing work in the laboratory and field, long-term planning for the conservation of a wide assortment of materials from shipwreck excavations. Conservator will be called on to assist in training, logistical planning for fieldwork, and laboratory development. Position would require relocation to Florida West Coast.
