Subject: Call for papers--Durability of paper and writing
The international event "Durability of paper and writing" <URL:http://paperdurability.org/> will be organised in Ljubljana, Slovenia, November 17-19, 2004. It aims at bringing together scientists, conservators, collection managers, and policy makers concerned with degradation of cultural heritage on paper. The event consists of a conference, organized by three EC Fifth framework projects PAPYLUM <http://papylum.uni-lj.si/>, InkCor <URL:http://www.infosrvr.nuk.uni-lj.si/jana/Inkcor/index.htm> and MIP <URL:http://www.miponline.org/> dedicated to all aspects of paper conservation science: fundamental and applied; and of two practical workshops, aimed at the dissemination of results of two 5th Framework Programme projects: * Papylum workshop, aimed at paper conservation scientists, a new chemiluminometric instrument and its significance for paper conservation science will be demonstrated.
