Subject: Call for papers--Preventive conservation
Symposium "preventive conservation of objects affected by metal-tannin ink corrosion" September 16 and 17, 2004 In the framework of the year of "healthy indoor air quality" two symposia are organized in September 16 and 17, 2004. This second symposium, organized on September 17, 2004 in The Netherlands (probably in The Hague) is dedicated to the work of the European Thematic network transition Metals in Paper (MIP), which falls under the 5th Framework of the European Commission. Speakers from this network, coming from research, suppliers and end-users, will present their work dedicated to preventive conservation of objects affected by metal-tannin ink corrosion. Due to the international interest the speaking language will be English. We welcome persons who want to present their work or a poster dedicated to e.g. the field of preventive conservation and indoor air quality. Also we are looking for companies who want to present their products at a small trade-fair for both symposium days. Sponsors are also highly welcome. More information on registration, final location and program follows, as soon it is available. Of course you can contact the network co-ordinator by e-mail: Dr John Havermans <j.havermans [at] bouw__tno__nl>. Also more information will be available soon <URL:http://www.miponline.org>. *** Conservation DistList Instance 17:59 Distributed: Tuesday, March 16, 2004 Message Id: cdl-17-59-007 ***Received on Tuesday, 16 March, 2004
