UKP22,000 -  UKP31,275 per annum

The V&A contains the National Collection of Stained Glass, one of
the most important collections in the world. We are seeking a
conservator with wide experience and knowledge of all aspects of the
conservation of stained glass.  The work will include the assessment
and technical examination of objects, practical interventive and
preventative conservation. You should have a recognised
qualification in conservation specialising in stained glass and/or
at least three to five years practical experience. A good
understanding of conservation theory and experience of presenting
technical papers to conferences and seminars is essential. You
should also be capable of producing a high standard of work to tight
deadlines. Computer literacy, and knowledge of the V&A and its
collections is desirable but not essential. (Ref: SGC)
