Symposium on conservation of paper, books and photographic materials

Registrations are now being accepted for the Third National
Symposium: Sydney Symposium 2004 conservation of paper, books and
photographic materials, hosted by AICCM Book and Paper, Photon and
Conservation Framing Special Interest Groups, to be held at the Art
Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia 1-3 April 2004.

The theme of the Symposium is Collaboration and Connections. These
interrelationships can be explored between the object and those who
connect with it. This may include the broader issues of historical
investigation, or of collaboration with colleagues, artists,
framers, curators, librarians, archivists, scientists, historians,
papermakers or indeed, the viewer. The objects significance is
central to expanding our understanding and interpretation.
