Searching for commercial partners for the distribution of high-end
diagnostic devices for art conservation

We are looking for commercial partners in Europe and the United
States for the distribution of high-end diagnostic devices designed
and developed by Forth Photonics specifically for art-conservation,
history of art and archaeology.

Activities: Forth Photonics, a company based in Athens, Greece is
focused on developing innovative, non-invasive, non-ionizing
diagnostic devices for conservation and art history. based on
long-term research in biophotonics for medical applications. These
numerous years of experience and research resulted in the
development of the MuSIST high-end Spectral Imaging Systems designed
and developed for the analysis and documentation of objects of
artistic and historic value. The company participates in many
important collaborative research programmes together with well-known
museums and universities and provides expert technical assistance to
art historical and conservation projects. MuSIST systems are
currently marketed and distributed by Forth Photonics, however, as
the market demand is growing, Forth Photonics is seeking for
commercial partners. that can collaborate in the distribution of the
systems.

About the MuSIST systems: MuSIST systems enhance the possibilities
for advanced research on imaging spectrometry and find extensive
applications in the fields of conservation and archaeological
science, preventive conservation, ancient and art history. Because
of the fine-tuning of the imaging wavelength in a wide spectral
range the MuSIST systems allow on-line monitoring and evaluation of
conservation treatments, reveal underdrawings and pentimenti, the
differentiation and characterization of pigments, binding media and
varnishes and the dynamic study of materials' behaviour. In
addition, MuSIST systems enable the selective imaging and recovering
of erased or overwritten scripts, and other important hidden marks.
