Subject: Convergence of UK conservation organizations
Conservators in the UK are presently being consulted about plans to converge all(or most of) the existing conservation bodies. Members of The Institute of Paper Conservation will have a questionnaire to fill out and send back by the end of this month. As a representative of many independent conservators who have some serious concerns about the proposals, I have been asked to urge you to read the consultation document carefully and return it with your comments . This is the members chance to have input into these proposals. The next IPC A.G.M. is not as advertised on Thursday, March 27, 2004. It will be on Thursday March 25, 2004. **** Moderator's comments: For more information, see <URL:http://palimpsest.stanford.edu/ ukic/news/index.html#consultation> <URL:http://www.nccr.org.uk/convergence/> **** The above URL has been wrapped for email.
