Fellowship, paintings conservation Phillips Collection The Phillips Collection seeks applications for a fellowship in paintings conservation, sponsored by The Sherman Fairchild Foundation. The applicant should be a recent graduate of a conservation program, including the completion of a graduate internship or one year's post-graduate professional experience. U.S. citizenship or a U.S. working visa is required. The fellowship start date is flexible, from the spring to the fall of 2004. A total compensation package of $30,000 is provided for this one-year position, with the possibility of renewal. The fellow will serve as an active member of the conservation office and will participate in a broad spectrum of museum activities. Treatments will be chosen to further the individual's training and to serve the museum's highest conservation priorities. The fellow will work in a newly renovated and expanded conservation studio at The Phillips Collection.
