Subject: PARS Library Binding Discussion Group
ALCTS/PARS Library Binding Discussion Group Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel, Ford Room B. Sunday, January 11, 2004 2-4 pm This will be an open discussion about the common problems encountered by librarians and the commercial binding industry in the binding and rebinding of volumes, beginning with the decision making process (with most libraries experiencing tighter budgets, how do you determine which books to send out?) all the way to placing the books back on the shelves. Input from this meeting will serve as the basis for planning our next meeting during the ALA Annual Meeting in June, 2004. I invite you to share your thoughts (as well as snacks and drinks).
