Smithsonian Center for Materials Research and Education (SCMRE)

The Smithsonian Center for Materials Research and Education (SCMRE),
an internationally renowned organization specializing in the
scientific study of museum artifacts and their materials, has a job
opening for a Chemist. The incumbent provides expertise and services
in the examination and analysis of museum objects. The ideal
candidate will have a degree in physical science, masters preferred,
and experience in the use of SEM-EDS or XRF. Experience working with
small samples and cultural materials is highly desirable. For a
