Request for proposals--Microfilming

On behalf of the Missouri State Archives, the state of Missouri has
issued a Request for Proposals (RFP), seeking a consultant on
preservation microfilming. Proposals are due December 17, 2003.  The
project will involve 3 components:

    *   assess the Archives' current microfilming procedures,
        methods, and materials

    *   provide training for technicians in preparation, camera
        operations, film processing, QC, and duplication

    *   revise the agency's "Guidelines for Local Records
        Microfilming"
