The Claudia De Hueck Fellowship in Art Conservation 2004/2005 National Gallery of Canada The Claudia De Hueck Fellowship in Art Conservation provides the opportunity to work with a team of practical conservators in a modern museum environment, and offers broad contact with other departments and the various functions of the National Gallery. Special interests and expertise on the part of the applicant will be encouraged, and every opportunity will be taken to build upon prior training and expertise. Applicants must have a graduate degree from a recognized conservation training program with a specialization in one of the following areas: traditional paintings, contemporary art, decorative arts and sculpture, prints, drawings, or photographs. The Fellowship is a twelve-month residency, including two weeks of annual leave, with an award of $27,000; a modest sum for travel and research may be negotiated. The period of residency will fall between the summer/autumn of 2003 and the summer/autumn of 2004.
