Adhesive for mounting specimens on glass slides

Can someone recommend an appropriate adhesive for mounting specimens
on glass slides?

The specimens are cast in polyester resin ("Bioplast") and are cut
in cross-section. A liquid adhesive is preferable, for leveling
purposes. Other requirements are that it be: pH-neutral, permanent,
archival and ideally clear (non-opaque). Also, should not be
heat-sensitive (e.g. Meltmount), which creeps over time.
