These days the world of art is more and more globalised.
Professionals are working increasingly in an international
environment, where multi-language capacities can be a distinctive
factor.

Through language lessons we aim to develop communication and
understanding between art professionals across the world.

Since 1994, Balaam has organized courses for university students and
museum professionals. We are pioneers in the development of language
courses tailored for the art world.

Our competence is our team: We are Spanish and English philologist,
art historians and art restorers (since 1930's).

The main goal of our Spanish and English courses is to improve the
students' communication skills, to learn the basics of
Spanish/English grammar and vocabulary-specifically that relating to
art history, art conservation and museology .

The emphasis of classroom activities is therefore the development of
the students' abilities to speak and understand technical Spanish or
English.

1 week course: 2 units, 30h, 6h daily EURO400,.

    Spanish for art conservators: February 16-20, 2004
    Spanish for art historians:  January 26-30, 2004
    Spanish for museologists : February 9-13, 2004
    Spanish for artists: January. 19-23, 2004

Spanish or English for art conservators
3 days: 1 unit, 18h, 6h daily, EURO300,. These courses are designed
to be combined with the international seminars.
