Healthy Buildings 2003, Singapore Due to the SARS outbreak, the conference "Healthy Buildings 2003", Singapore, was postponed from July to December 7-12, 2003. The "Indoor Air Quality and Climate in Cultural and Heritage Collections" workshop at Healthy Buildings 2003 will be held on Monday December 8, 2003, 13:30-15:00 The conference has the Aims and Scope: * To increase the awareness of healthy indoor environment and energy-efficient building globally, including a special theme for developing countries. * To create a multi-disciplinary forum on the development and advances made in the field of indoor air quality and climate to achieve healthy, comfortable and productive environments. * To allow interactions among scientists, policy makers, medical, legal and building professionals on the application of state-of-the-art research to practical problems encountered in the design, construction, operation and retrofitting of buildings. * The scope of the Conference covers all building Even though the main scope of this conference is not pointed toward cultural heritage, there are usually a handful of papers during the conference on this topic. And, as for the last HB conference (Helsinki 2000) and Indoor Air conference (Monterey 2002), there will be a workshop session on "Indoor Air Quality and Climate in Cultural and Heritage Collections", hosted by the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ).
