Lecture on preservation science

The Library of Congress Preservation Directorate announces the tenth
event in its series of lectures on Topics in Preservation Science,
November 21, 9:30 11:00 AM, West Dining Room, Madison Building,
Library of Congress.

This event will feature two conservation scientists from Slovenia.

    *  "Stabilization of Iron Gall Ink Corrosion" will be presented
        by Dr. Jana Kolar, Head, National Centre for Preservation of
        Library Materials, National and University Library

    *  "Laser Cleaning of Paper" will be presented by Dr. Matija
        Strlic, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology,
        University of Ljubljana

This lecture is free and open to the public.  For more information
