This inquiry and subsequent responses prompts me to ask the
following.  Developments in spray application equipment have
introduced High Pressure Low Volume (HVLP) systems that can replace
traditional Low Volume High Pressure (LVHP) systems. One advantage
of an HVLP system is the greatly reduced air pressure through the
spray gun.  Can the cfm of exhaust and make-up air within a new
HVLP equipped spray booth be safely reduced from traditional
requirements?   That is while remaining compliant with local
building codes.
