Chair of Historic Preservation

    The Savannah College of Art and Design is seeking qualified
    candidates for a full-time position as Chair of the Historic
    Preservation Department. The successful candidate will be
    responsible for the administration duties within the department
    as well as the development and implementation of curriculum and
    academic standards at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
    In addition, the department chair teaches various courses
    related to Preservation Technology, Building Assessment
    Strategies, Preservation Construction and Preservation Law and
    Economics in addition to general courses in Historic
    Preservation. The candidate must have a Master's Degree in
    Historic Preservation with demonstrated professional experience.
    Prior teaching or administrative experience is desirable.
    Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching
    coursework through the web.

Professor of Historic Preservation

    The Savannah College of Art and Design seeks qualified
    candidates for full-time faculty positions in Historic
    Preservation. Successful candidates will be responsible for
    teaching various courses related to Preservation Technology,
    Building Assessment Strategies, Preservation Construction,
    Introduction to Historic Preservation, and Preservation
    Research. The candidate must have a Master's Degree in Historic
    Preservation with demonstrated professional experience in some
    or all of the following: conservation science, preservation
    technology, community/main street, planning, construction, as
    well as working knowledge of the adaptive reuse and
    rehabilitation of structures and other methods of restoration.
    Prior teaching experience is desirable.
