chemist or conservation scientist is available:

Within a project, funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF),
analytical investigations will be carried out dealing with the
chemical ageing processes of natural organic binding media in works
of art. Techniques employed include GC, GC/MS and FTIR-microscopy.

The applicant should have a master degree in organic chemistry,
preferably analytical chemistry, and should ideally be experienced
in the field of organic analysis of historic binding media in works
of art. Experience in GC and GC/MS is an absolute prerequisite;
Py-GC/MS and FTIR are desired. Further information on request.

Duration: January 2004 - December 2005
Salary:  EURO1.100/month for 14 months (net)
