Visit to the IPC Chantry Library, Oxford

    British Association of Paper Historians Third One-Day Meeting in
    Manchester. Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester, Wednesday,
    October 15, 2003, 10:30 am. The morning session will consist of
    a series on lectures. Tanya Schmoller will talk on Decorated
    Papers. Richard Hills will speak on Papermaking in the North
    West. Christine Woods, Nicola Walker and Emmanuelle Dirix will
    present on Historic Wallpapers and their Conservation.

    In the afternoon there will be an opportunity to view, with the
    guidance of Christine Woods, special exhibits on wall coverings,
    and their storage needs.

    Cost: UKP10.00 for BAPH members, UKP15.00 for non-members. Tea
    and coffee will be provided morning and afternoon, and a buffet
    lunch, for UKP6.50.

Thursday, October 30, 2003, 2 pm.

    This visit, for a maximum of 20, will include a tour of the
    facilities and an examination of the materials available for
    conservation research. After the visit it will be possible to
    use the facilities for your own research.

    Cost: UKP5.00 for BAPH members, UKP10.00 for non-members.
