From: Michael Trinkley <chicora>
Date: Wednesday, September 17, 2003
The National Preservation Institute is hosting:

Cemetery Preservation: Making Good Choices
presented by Chicora Foundation from Columbia, South Carolina.
Washington, D.C.
October 9, 2003
8:30am to 5pm

Like any preservation project, work in cemeteries requires that you
make choices. This workshop is designed for anyone intending to
begin a cemetery preservation or "restoration" project and will help
ensure that these choices are sound and don't harm what you are
seeking to protect. Discussions focus on current issues in cemetery
preservation, such as recording and documenting cemeteries and
graveyards, undertaking preservation efforts, and exploring
conservation techniques and issues.

Chicora Foundation has 20 years experience in cemetery preservation
and has worked in a number of Georgia cemeteries. This is a unique
opportunity to get great advice on your cemetery preservation
project.
