Objects conservator Wiltshire County Council's Conservation Service <URL:http://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/heritage> Wiltshire County Council's Conservation Service is seeking to recruit an objects conservator. We support museums in Wiltshire with a wide range of conservation services and also supply conservation services to archaeological units and other heritage organisations. The conservator provides preventative conservation advice, remedial conservation and training for non-specialists to Wiltshire museums and clients. The post holder works with a range of professional and voluntary staff and a variety of collections and materials. A recognised conservation qualification, at least three year's post training practical experience and full UK driving licence are essential. Excellent team work skills, the ability to plan and implement work programmes and a commitment to high standards are also required.
