Subject: Mellon Advanced Residency Program in Photograph Conservation
The Advanced Residency Program in Photograph Conservation (ARP) is pleased to announce the launching of its new web site <URL:http://www.arp-geh.org/> Funding for this project has been provided by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation as a part of an ARP resource development grant that also includes the creation of a conservation library and program archives. This initiative is part of an effort to increase public awareness of this unique training program in photograph conservation and its goals. Further, through this interface the Program hopes to promote a more dynamic interaction with the conservation community by providing direct access to the fellows and faculty accomplishments. The web site will feature a description of the program, its curriculum (coursework and research agenda), fellow and faculty profiles, projects and research, and activities (historic process demonstrations, field trips, and visiting scholars/professionals). In the future a section will be devoted to featured treatments.
