Paper Conservator (Temporary Post)
Salary Range EURO25,421 - EURO35,227 per annum.

    Applications are invited for a temporary post of Paper
    Conservator in the Glucksman Conservation Department at Trinity
    College Library.

    Applicants should be graduates of a paper related conservation
    programme and have at least two years experience in the field of
    paper conservation.

    The appointment will be for one year initially, and subject to
    satisfactory performance, will be renewable for a further two
    years. The position is on the Conservator Technician level.

Book Conservator
Salary Range EURO25,421 - EURO35,227 per annum.
Vincent Kinane Conservator of Early Printed Books (Temporary Post)

    The successful candidate will work on the conservation of books
    in the Early Printed Book collection. They will participate in
    planning preservation strategies for the collection, and will
    establish treatment priorities in consultation with the Keeper
    of Preservation and the Keeper of Early Printed Books. They will
    also supervise staff working on the Long Room book and shelf
    cleaning programme. The successful candidate will work with the
    conservation department to develop minor intervention approaches
    to the treatment of printed books. Work tasks include collection
    surveys, documentation and conservation of early printed books.
    The candidate may also participate in the preparation and
    presentation of in-house courses on preservation and
    conservation topics for Library staff.

    Applicants must be graduates of book conservation programmes and
    have at least two years experience in the field of book
    conservation. This is a temporary position.
