The Institute of Conservation Science are holding a one day meeting
on "Scientific Research in the Conservation of Leather" on Wednesday
October 29, 2003 at the Leather Conservation Centre, Northampton.
Contributions are invited from scientists and conservators
researching the conservation of leather and related materials.
Abstracts for presentations should be sent to
siobhan.watts [at] liverpoolmuseums__org__uk by August 29, 2003. The
meeting will include tours of the Leather Conservation Centre, and
of nearby facilities for the study of leather technology. Full
details and a programme will follow shortly.
