Tack bind machines

Our old tack bind machine (Brodart 810 Binding System; sometimes
called a drill binder or Togic Bind) is on its last legs and parts
are no longer available through Brodart.  We use it for temporary
binding of newspapers before microfilming, and would like to replace
it with a similar machine, but not with a velo-bind because of the
number of holes made by the velo-bind.  Is there an alternative out
there any one can recommend?
