The Elise S. Haas Conservation Studio at the San Francisco Museum of
Modern Art is pleased to advertise a half-time, one-year term
position for Assistant Paper Conservator.  Essential duties include
examination, documentation and treatment of works of art on paper,
participation in the planning and implementation of an ambitious
exhibition schedule, consultation with Museum staff and the public,
and assistance with routine maintenance of the conservation studio.
Qualified candidates will have a masters degree in conservation with
specialization in paper with preferably two years of experience. For
