Anatomical specimen

From: Arthur Nash <curator>
Date: Tuesday, July 22, 2003
I have an 18th Century preserved anatomical specimen attributed to
Honore Fragonard (d. 1799) aka "L'autre Fragonard." It is quite
unique. It exhibits a small area affected by mold, however, and I
would like to inquire if there are qualified conservators in the Los
Angeles area who may like the opportunity to examine this rare
specimen and perhaps treat this problem area. I would not object if
this were performed in a classroom setting.

Institute for Conservation (FAIC) has a service called the AIC
Guide to Conservation Services, which will help you find a
conservator in a particular specialty and geographic area.
