The position of Librarian (Preservation Specialist) is a
preservation administration/conservator position in the Conservation
Division of the Preservation Directorate of the Library of Congress.
The incumbent uses knowledge and skills to preserve and conserve the
Library's valuable, rare and heavily used collections of books,
manuscripts, photographs, art, recorded sound, moving image, and
other special media collection, and perform other related duties
that support the activities of the Preservation Directorate.
