Nitrile gloves

Just a note on this issue for conservators in Australia.  I called
the manufacturer of our nitrile gloves,

who confirmed that they are the uncoated chlorinated variety.  They
suggested using their Nitex gloves instead which are polymer coated
on the exterior and also don't contain certain vulcanising chemicals
which are present in most nitrile gloves.  The vulcanising chemicals
could also contribute to corrosion and can cause allergies in some
people.
