In the Netherlands, there is the research section of the Netherlands
Institute for Cultural Heritage (Instituut Collectie Nederlands)
that offers a wide range of instrumental materials identification
and analytical services, including SEM.  As is normal for well
educated Dutch, all the scientists are multi-lingual. See
