Odour Zapp

Occasionally our display department have trouble getting the colour
range they would like in approved paints (eg water based acrylics
such as Wattyl "Clean Air" or Dulux "Breathe easy") for display
cases. One product they have recently brought to my attention is a
an American product called "Odour Zapp", which can apparently be
added in small amounts (a few millilitres per 4 litres) to any paint
or solvent to reduce the vapour odour, and by inference any harmful
off gassing. According to the product information
<URL:http://www.floodaustralia.net/brochures/5216poe.pdf> it

"is not a mask or cover up. It doesn't just hide odours--it
chemically neutralises them when Odour Zapp is activated by
oxygen. Nothing happens until the treated paint is applied to
the air. Odour Zapp molecules attach themselves to paint vapours
causing them to fall away undetected."

Apparently hospitals, hotels and schools use it and our display
department would also like to give it a go. We are a small
institution and even the Oddy test is a bit of a challenge. I will
write to the manufacturers and request more info but I was wondering
if anyone has come across this product.
