The Smithsonian Institution Libraries (SIL) announces the posting of
a permanent, federal, book conservator position at the GS-09 level
($40,040-$52,058).  The conservator will join a conservation staff
consisting of one book conservator and two conservation technicians.
The SIL conservation program supports the general  and special
collections of the Libraries' 22 branches throughout the Smithsonian
Institution.  The conservation program also supports the Libraries'
exhibition program including the Libraries' gallery, loans to the
Smithsonian museums and to other institutions.
