Symposium and Workshop Update. 'Materials For Conservation and Restoration of Paintings: Varnishes and Retouching Media', Northumbria University Newcastle upon Tyne, UK September 2003 Further to a previous posting (Conservation DistList Instance: 16:54 Thursday, March 27, 2003), we can now provide more information on these events. The Workshop element of the event is now full and there is a waiting list for places, so further applications unfortunately cannot be accepted. However, we are now accepting applications for the one day 'Symposium' part of the event, which will consist of presentations by Rene de La Rie, Jill Whitten and Rob Proctor. The Symposium will take place on Wednesday 10th September 2003 at Nixon Hall, Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
