Upper Midwest Conservation Association's "Care of Costumes" A two-day workshop at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts June 26-27, 2003 10am-5pm both days Open to all museum and library professionals, and private collectors with questions on proper conservation techniques for their costume collections. Participants will have the opportunity to try many hands-on techniques associated with preservation of costumes. Lecture topics will include: environmental requirements, storage furniture, hanging systems, and proper support structures for various types of costumes, as well as proper care and handling.
