Xth IADA Congress for Book and Paper Conservators

June 22-26, 2003

The International Association of Book and Paper Conservators (IADA)
will hosts its Xth Congress, June 22-26, 2003 in Goettingen
(Germany). The congress will be of interest to all book and paper
conservators, as well as archivists, curators and building
conservators.

Forty speakers from 13 countries (from Armenia to Spain) will speak
on the following subjects: book conservation, conservation research,
art on paper, preservation, and ink corrosion; one day will be
dedicated to the conservation of wall papers which are part of the
EU "Wall and Paper" Project. In addition to the presentations, there
will be a workshop on "Paper and Water", panel discussion on
"Lessons learnt from the Flood Disasters in Eastern Europe",
presentations by students, poster sessions, evening events and
exhibitors.

Conference fees are between EURO130-325. Concessions are available
For students and IADA members. Early Birds: on registration before
June 30, 2003 you will receive a concession of EURO30. (students
excepted).
